Weak trip

Had a weak 3.5x small bowl. Remember, this time, that the smoke stings a little and I get a cold slightly prickly feeling in places when I’m smoking. I made myself think nice things and and relaxed a bit. It wasn’t an extactly stunning strip, but it was calm and not at all scary. I just felt a little stoned, as if colours were more vivid and my thoughts were solid, and voices were there.

I should preface this by saying, this trip was so bad that when I was half-sober, I tried to delete this blog.

It was like this. I was sat on the edge of my bed. Railway tracks ran by my feet, at speed. At the start of the trip I was listening to Space Maker by Air. There was a female vocalist, who was tiny, angelic and golden in my stoned state. Then this traintrack started whizzing by, one sleeper for every note, and I had to do something because there were people coming, and I had to do something and it was all going fast, not enough time… For a moment it looked as if I was sat in a dip and the other bits of the room were higher. I’m also thinking of yellow quite a lot. It was horrible.

Now I’m clearer, it was horrible to experience, but the golden angel gives me hope. But SD is just so random – you’re not given anything for sure. I’m going to leave it a while before my next trip. Next Mnday my flatmate is out all day at a mega concert, so I’ll have no stress or worrying concerns about being noisy.

My flatmate was out when I got home and my parcel of 1g of 5x and a turbolighter had arrived. With a bit of nerves, I tipped about .2 or .25g of 5x into the bowl of my naff acrylic bong. I packed it down, sat down and lit up.

Now, the smoke wasn’t too acidic, although I blew out the first lungful at once rather than holding it in. I took a second lungful and started to kind of hear voices discussing a school trip, of all things, and I felt kind of annoyed – I was thinking ‘noooo! boring! is that the best… ooh face feels funny’. I honestly felt as if someone had crimped the left side of my face, vertically, once. Like a piece of corrugated card. It was funny-weird, and kind of amusing, but not too strong.

I took in the final lungful and was surprised how it all went in when I took my finger off the hole.

When I stood up a bit I thought the floor was dipping for a second.

Overall: will definitely have a couple of bowlfuls next time I know my flatmate will be out. It was a good start and pleasantly fun, apart from the unexciting school trip voices…

Took 1ml of tincture. Tried holding it under my top lip, but it burned, and hurt terribly. I released it and left in my mouth for about ten mins, but again, nothing.

buying a bong

I work near a big London market, and although it’s not famous for head shops there’s a semi-famous one nearby. So after my non-experience with tincture, I decided to buy a bong and smoking stuff.

I am very impatient, so I went out at lunch.

I have never bought a bong in my life, so I just bought a plain acrylic one. It was weird… I kept trying not to look guilty and naive. Then I couldn’t face the old hippy behind the shop counter selling SD, so I went to a ‘net cafe to buy online from EDIT. I bought 1g of 5x, 1g of 10x, a turbo lighter and some Maya Gold 3.5x for a laugh.

So I now own a cheap yellow and red water bong and eagerly await my packet tomorrow.

Tried taking 2ml of 5x liquid extract.

Tastes awful and burns. I held in the bottom of my mouth for about ten minutes, although I made a lot of saliva as it tasted dreadful. It did nothing… I think. The only possible effect was that I thought I saw a black spider by my monitor and I thought it felt like my back was being gently touched in two places. But it might have been cramp.

Disappointed, but hopeful, will try again tomorrow and see if not salivating as much helps.

When I first heard of SD, I just had to try it. I love doing things like this – stuff that’s transgressive, even if it’s not illegal. It goes back to when I first got online and started reading Dan Savage. I did cybersex, a lot. Then I (with a dry mouth and shaky hands) ordered a rabbit vibrator (NSFW) from Love Honey. And other stuff. I wore a ‘FUCK FCUK’ t-shirt. I dressed up on dress-down Fridays, read porn, and rebelled in tiny ways. Minor stuff.

So Salvia looked cool.

My flat’s non-smoking, so I figured that I should try the tincture first.
